Hollyland has launched the Lyra, a 4K webcam built to improve video calls and streams. It pairs directly with the company's Lark A1 wireless lavalier microphone - voices come through clearly without extra cables. The camera also uses built in AI tools to keep the picture sharp plus professional.
A 1/1.5-inch sensor as well as f/1.8 lens give bright, detailed video even when the room is dim. Record at 4K 30fps or drop to 1080p for 60fps. AI corrects brightness, contrast and exposure on the fly. A beauty filter smooths skin if the user wants it.
The camera holds still on the monitor - yet crops and re frames the picture so one person stays in the middle. A built in algorithm removes green backgrounds and drops in any replacement without extra programs.
A rotating ring spins a physical shutter across the lens when the camera is off. Sound is handled by the Lark A1 wireless lavalier, sold alone or bundled with the Lyra for ten dollars extra. The mic pairs only with this webcam giving clear speech for calls and recordings.
