Nomad, a brand known for upmarket phone accessories, now sells its first 25-watt wireless chargers. The Stand One besides Stand One Max use the Qi2.2 standard and deliver 25 watts to phones, a clear jump from the old 15-watt limit. The company keeps the same metal-and-glass build that customers expect.
Each charger is carved from a single aluminum block and topped with glass. The weight keeps the unit from sliding when a phone docks or when the cable shifts. The base supports iPhone StandBy mode. Buyers choose a silver or a carbide finish.
The key change is the move to 25-watt output for MagSafe or Qi2 hardware. Recent iPhones next to Google Pixel phones gain the benefit. A 25-watt charge fills a battery faster than the earlier 15-watt standard.
Two layouts are offered:
The box holds only the stand and the cable. A 40-watt USB-C wall adapter is required for the full 25-watt output. Customers must buy that part on their own.
The price sits at the top of the market - yet the metal frame, glass surface and new 25-watt speed give buyers a sturdy, fast dock that looks at home on a desk or nightstand.
