To mark N7 Day, the SSV Normandy SR1 from Mass Effect returns to No Man's Sky for a short time. Hello Games besides BioWare have allowed Travellers one more chance to add the frigate to their fleet. This guide lists the exact steps to obtain it.

Unlocking the Normandy - A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow the steps below to add Commander Shepard's ship to your collection.

Step 1: Start the Beachhead Expedition

Open the new game menu and select the special “Beachhead” expedition - it is a time limited story mission that Hello Games has reactivated for N7 Day. Both new plus returning players may join.

Step 2: Finish Every Expedition Milestone

Advance through the expedition - completing all phases and milestones. Obey the on screen objectives to collect resources, visit planets but also move through the mission's story.

Step 3: Claim Your Reward

After you finish the final milestone, the game grants the SSV Normandy SR1. The ship becomes part of your frigate fleet and travels with your capital ship across the galaxy.

Act Fast, Traveller!

This chance closes after November 18. Complete the expedition before that date - the event ends as well as the Normandy will not be available again. Secure this piece of gaming history while you can.
