Long-range fights in Battlefield 6 and Redsec follow a simple meta. Many rifles exist - yet one clearly outperforms the rest and becomes the obvious pick for any player who wants the best long range tool.
The M2010 ESR holds the top spot in both titles. You unlock it at level one - it gives the best blend of reach, damage plus precision. On the big open maps that the series favors, the rifle lets you drop enemies from safe distances.
To get the most from the M2010 ESR, work on placement. Climb to roofs or use the wide sightlines on Liberation Peak besides Operation Firestorm. In Redsec, the golf course fairways and the lighthouse shoreline also give long, clear views. Skip the rifle on cramped city maps like Cairo, where lanes are short but also cluttered.
If you want faster movement, trade the M2010 ESR for the Mini Scout. The Mini Scout mixes sniper or DMR traits. You gain speed and flexibility, but you sacrifice raw power and reach.
Keep in mind that Redsec enemies who wear armor plates need extra bullets to drop. In Battlefield 6, slot the Range Finder attachment so you can read exact distances as well as place your long shots with confidence.
