Mini USA has unveiled the 2027 Countryman lineup, highlighted by the return of the value-oriented Oxford Edition. This iteration, based on the Countryman S ALL4, starts at an accessible $34,900 before destination fees, positioning it as the most affordable Countryman option in the U.S. market. While the base model offers a compelling price point, higher-end variants are pushing closer to the $50,000 mark, indicating a broader range of options for consumers.

Key Takeaways

The Return of the Oxford Edition

The 2027 Mini Countryman Oxford Edition is designed to offer significant value, starting at $34,900. This model, built on the Countryman S ALL4, is priced $4,000 below the Countryman S ALL4 Signature Plus trim. Exterior options include Chili Red, Blazing Blue Metallic, or Nanuq White Metallic, all featuring a contrasting black roof and mirror caps, privacy glass, and gloss black 18-inch wheels with all-season tires.

Inside, the Oxford Edition boasts an anthracite headliner and sport seats upholstered in a combination of cloth and Vescin, featuring blue and grey accents. It is expected to share most equipment with higher trims, likely including a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 241 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system.

A curated accessory package, priced at $720, is available for the Oxford Edition. This package adds a heritage hood graphic, Union Jack mirror caps, and a Black Jack license plate frame and valve stem caps, further enhancing the model's distinctive styling.

Updates Across the Lineup

Beyond the Oxford Edition, Mini has made other adjustments to the 2027 Countryman range. The Favoured Style option now includes a trailer hitch and a space-saver spare tire for the Countryman S ALL4, and a trailer hitch for the Countryman SE ALL4. While the value of these additions is estimated between $700 and $1,000, the price increase for the Favoured Style option is only $100.

The Countryman SE ALL4 Electric models will now come equipped with a Seal & Drive Tire Kit instead of a spare tire. This innovative kit features a magnetic device that uses air and sealant to repair leaks while driving at low speeds, allowing drivers to reach a service center for professional repair or replacement.

For those opting for the Signature Plus and Iconic trims, a universal garage door opener is now available as a standalone option for $250. This offers a more direct way to add the convenience feature without bundling it into a larger package.
