This is a special, limited-production version of the BMW XB7 high-performance SUV, refined by Alpina. It marks the end of the XB7's production run and is the first model released since Alpina was fully integrated into BMW. Only 120 units will be built, exclusively for customers in the United States and Canada, making it a collector's vehicle from its debut.
The XB7 Manufaktur is offered in two distinct matte finishes: Frozen Alpina Green or Frozen Alpina Blue. These colors are paired with high-gloss black Shadowline trim, replacing the usual chrome. The vehicle rides on large 23-inch forged wheels with a classic 20-spoke Alpina design. Subtle details, including Manufaktur badging and thin accent lines along the body, set it apart from the standard model.
The cabin is designed for maximum luxury. It is fully wrapped in Tartufo Full Merino leather and features Alpina Walnut Nature Black wood trim. Alpina logos are embroidered into the headrests, and a small plaque on the center console identifies the vehicle as one of the 120 units produced. For rear passengers, the vehicle is equipped with two individual captain's chairs, emphasizing comfort for long journeys.
Power comes from a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which is assisted by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for improved response. The powertrain produces 631 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This allows the large SUV to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. To manage its size and weight, the XB7 Manufaktur uses air suspension for a comfortable ride and rear-axle steering to make it feel more nimble in corners.
The BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur sits at the peak of the luxury performance SUV segment. As a final edition, it targets enthusiasts and collectors seeking the most exclusive version of the XB7. Each of the 120 examples comes in a single, fully-loaded specification with no available options. The starting price is set at $180,000, plus a destination and handling fee.
