Ram has announced two special edition models for its 2026 heavy-duty truck lineup: the Ram 2500 Power Wagon Lunar Edition and the Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition. These models are primarily appearance packages, drawing inspiration from celestial events and offering unique aesthetic touches over the standard trucks.
The Lunar Edition models are distinguished by a specific two-tone paint scheme. The upper body and roof are finished in Ceramic Grey Clear-Coat, a color intended to resemble moon rock. This is contrasted with a Diamond Black lower body. The grille surround is also painted Ceramic Grey, creating a more monochrome front-end appearance. Both trucks ride on black wheels.
Exterior graphics include a horizon stripe that runs along the fender, doors, and bedside. The Power Wagon version does not include the standard vertical bedside graphic but features a unique Power Wagon tailgate graphic, which can be deleted if a customer chooses.
Inside, the Lunar Editions feature Natura Plus Black leather bucket seats. Each seat is embossed with the respective model logo, either “Power Wagon” or “Rebel.” A prominent design element is the Copperhead Orange contrast stitching, which is applied to the seats, dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, and grab handles. This color choice is inspired by the hue of the moon during a lunar eclipse.
Additional interior features include a Mopar lockable storage console and a special alloy badge on the console lid with machined-face satin chrome lettering.
The powertrain for each Lunar Edition model is tied to its specific trim. The Ram 2500 Power Wagon Lunar Edition is equipped with the 6.4-liter V-8 gasoline engine. The Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition comes with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine. These are the standard engine configurations for the Power Wagon and diesel-optioned Rebel trims, with no performance modifications specific to the Lunar Edition package.
The Lunar Edition package itself costs an additional $1,995. However, selecting this package requires the inclusion of other mandatory equipment groups. For the Power Wagon, this adds an $8,545 equipment group, bringing the starting price to $86,385. The Rebel requires both the diesel engine option at $12,995 and a $6,545 equipment group, resulting in a starting price of $93,885.
These special editions are similar in concept to the 2024 Ram HD Lunar Editions. The 2026 models will be available for order in the coming weeks and will be covered by Ram's 10-year/100,000-mile warranty.
