Ram is bringing back a popular option for its 2026 truck lineup: the Rebel X package. This upgrade is available for the Ram 1500 Rebel model and adds a specific set of off-road and luxury features. Here are the key details.
The Rebel X is an optional package for the Ram 1500 Rebel trim equipped with the Level 2 Equipment Group and the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-6 Hurricane engine. It combines advanced off-road technology with premium interior appointments, building on the already capable Rebel platform.
This is the standout technology of the Rebel X. Think of it as a low-speed cruise control designed specifically for difficult terrain. The system automatically manages the throttle on trails at speeds up to 20 mph. This allows the driver to concentrate fully on steering through obstacles without needing to work the pedals.
The Rebel X comes standard with a factory 1-inch suspension lift for better ground clearance. It uses Bilstein monotube shock absorbers at the front and rear to handle rough surfaces. Other essential equipment includes front tow hooks, an electronic locking rear differential for improved traction, protective skid plates for the underbody, and 18-inch wheels fitted with 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Inside, the Rebel X package adds leather and vinyl bucket seats with distinctive red accent stitching, a leather-wrapped shifter, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof is also included. Because it requires the Level 2 Equipment Group, the truck also gets larger display screens, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and heated and ventilated front seats.
Ordering for the 2026 Ram 1500 with the Rebel X package is open, with pricing starting at $71,930. This positions the truck in the premium off-road segment. While competitors offer similar packages, the Rebel X distinguishes itself with the exclusive Rough Road Cruise Control feature, blending high-tech assistance with rugged hardware. A new "Tank Clear-Coat" color is also available for 2026.
