The headlights autonomously adjust their beam pattern in response to road conditions, camera input, and navigation data. For example, when a vehicle ahead is detected or oncoming traffic approaches, the system automatically dims or redirects the high beam to prevent dazzling other road users while ensuring maximum visibility for the driver.
Furthermore, the projection capabilities now include warnings and alerts. Utilizing the Digital Extra package, the headlights can project symbols—such as lane departure alerts, wrong-way driving warnings, or a snowflake for icy conditions—directly onto the road surface ahead of the car. This can improve driver situational awareness, especially during adverse weather or in construction zones. The activation of special lighting patterns, such as animated greetings when the car is locked or unlocked, adds a modern design touch to the vehicle.
