Apple's latest AirPods Pro 3 are here, and they bring a significant advancement in personal health technology. Beyond their enhanced audio capabilities, these new earbuds now feature integrated heart rate sensing, transforming them into a powerful tool for tracking your well-being and fitness.
The heart rate sensing capability in AirPods Pro 3 marks a notable step in integrating health monitoring into everyday accessories. This feature allows users to view their heart rate data directly within the Health app on their iPhone. Furthermore, it enables the closing of Activity rings, a feature previously exclusive to the Apple Watch, offering a new way to stay motivated and track daily movement goals.
To begin using this new health feature, ensure it's enabled in your iPhone's settings. While wearing your AirPods Pro 3, navigate to the Settings app, tap on your AirPods' name at the top of the screen, and scroll down to find the 'Heart Rate' option. Toggle this setting to 'On'.
Once activated, your heart rate data will be automatically logged in the Apple Health app. You can access this information by opening the Health app, tapping the search icon in the bottom right corner, and selecting 'Heart'.
