Details of the OnePlus Watch 4 have emerged through a promotional page on a global OnePlus website, revealing nearly all specifications for the next-generation smartwatch. While a formal announcement is absent, the leaked information provides a clear picture of the device's upgrades and its position relative to its predecessor.
The most significant change in the OnePlus Watch 4 is its physical construction. The new model features a case made entirely from a titanium alloy. This is a notable upgrade from the OnePlus Watch 3, which used titanium only for the bezel while the rest of the case was stainless steel. This shift in materials results in a lighter device, with the Watch 4 weighing 43 grams (without the strap), and a slightly thinner profile at 11.0 mm.
Internally, the OnePlus Watch 4 retains many of the core components of the previous generation. It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 chip, paired with a BES 2800 co-processor that enables switching between the full Wear OS and a low-power RTOS. The device is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, specifications that are consistent with its predecessor. The display is protected by sapphire crystal.
The watch will run Wear OS 6, skinned with “OxygenOS Watch 8.” The battery capacity is nearly identical to the last model at 632 mAh, offering the same performance metrics: up to 5 days in “smart mode” and 3 days under “heavy use.” The inclusion of Google's Gemini AI is also advertised.
Despite the detailed product page, the launch of the OnePlus Watch 4 remains uncertain. The listing does not include a price or a release date. This ambiguity aligns with recent reports of OnePlus re-evaluating its global business strategy, casting doubt on when or if the watch will be widely available. The device features numerous health certifications, though key certifications for the US market appear to be absent from the listing.
