Ultrahuman has launched its latest smart ring, the Ring Pro, aiming to enhance user health tracking with significant improvements in battery life and data analysis capabilities. This new device promises up to 15 days of operation on a single charge, a substantial leap from its predecessor, the Ring Air. The Ring Pro also integrates with Ultrahuman's new Jade AI, designed to provide actionable health interventions based on comprehensive data analysis.
The Ultrahuman Ring Pro boasts a significantly improved battery, lasting up to 15 days in its 'Chill' mode and 12 days in 'Turbo' mode, a considerable upgrade from the Ring Air's maximum of six days. The accompanying charging case extends this by an additional 45 days and supports Qi-compatible wireless charging. The case itself includes locator technology, a speaker, haptic notifications, and a power LED.
Beyond battery life, the Ring Pro offers enhanced data retention, capable of storing up to 250 days of information compared to the Ring Air's less than a week. The heart-rate sensor has been redesigned for better signal quality, and an upgraded processor boosts the accuracy of local machine learning and overall device speed.
The ring is available in gold, silver, black, and titanium finishes, with sizes ranging from 5 to 14.
Complementing the hardware is Jade AI, Ultrahuman's new biointelligence agent. Jade can analyze current and historical health data from across Ultrahuman's product ecosystem, including the Rings, Blood Vision, and subscription services like Home and M1 CGM. This 'Deep Research Mode' aims to provide historical trends, current recommendations, flag potential health issues, and even trigger activities like A-fib detection.
Ultrahuman plans to expand Jade's capabilities to include health-adjacent activities such as food ordering. Additionally, new applications are being developed for the company's PowerPlug add-on platform, focusing on areas like tracking GLP-1 effects, snoring and respiratory analysis, and migraine management.
While the Ring Pro is available for preorder globally and slated to ship in March, its release in the US is currently blocked due to a patent dispute with competitor Oura Ring. Jade AI, however, is available globally.
