Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has officially welcomed the Middle East's largest flying theater, "Flying Over Saudi," which opened its doors on December 24, 2025. Developed by Brogent Technologies, this cutting-edge attraction promises an unparalleled immersive experience, setting a new benchmark for entertainment in the region and solidifying Riyadh's growing status as a premier tourist destination.
"Flying Over Saudi" represents a significant leap forward in the theme park and immersive entertainment landscape of the Middle East. The attraction utilizes Brogent's state-of-the-art i-Ride flying theater system, complemented by the world's first 8K projection system specifically engineered for this type of experience. This combination delivers exceptionally refined motion performance and heightened realism, creating a truly next-generation flying adventure.
The seven-minute original film transports up to 90 guests per ride cycle on a breathtaking aerial journey across Saudi Arabia. Viewers will soar over iconic natural and cultural sites, from majestic mountain ranges and expansive deserts to stunning coastlines and the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra. The experience is amplified by a massive 26-meter domed screen, synchronized motion seating, and environmental effects such as wind, mist, and scents, ensuring a deeply engaging, multi-sensory adventure.
Emad Aleisa, CEO of Takwenat, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting how the attraction's distinctive cinematography and multi-sensory storytelling create a profound emotional connection to Saudi Arabia's landscapes. "Visitors can feel as if they are walking alongside pilgrims in Mecca, experiencing the atmosphere through sound, scent, and subtle motion, creating a truly memorable and emotionally engaging journey," Aleisa stated.
Chih-Hung Ouyang, Chairman of Brogent Technologies, emphasized the growing demand for premium, technology-driven attractions in the Middle East. "This project demonstrates how flying theater platforms can blend advanced ride systems with cinematic storytelling, offering a landmark experience that connects culture, tourism, and entertainment across the region," he remarked.
