Battlefield Studios released a statement about the 1.1.3.0 Winter Offensive Update for Battlefield 6. The update aimed to improve the game but instead caused a range of problems that upset players. The studio is now fixing those issues and says player feedback remains central to the process. Key points The Winter Offensive Update brought serious technical trouble. Players report stuttering gameplay, slow menus and faults in Breakthrough besides Portal modes. Community managers state that fixes have either already gone live or will arrive shortly. Addressing Player Concerns Community manager Kevin Johnson wrote on Twitter: “Your experience plus feedback matter. Every Battlefield Studios team is working to resolve the reported issues and to give you the best experience possible. Thank you for holding us accountable - the fixes are either here or on the way.” Scope of the Issues A follow up statement listed the areas under review - Breakthrough mode - The Firing Range - Portal - Main Menu performance - Micro-stuttering on PC - Additional issues raised by the community Path to Resolution Developers have already fixed multiple problems - the rest will receive immediate hotfixes or appear in the next updates. The team will keep checking each fix, collect more data from player reports and rank remaining problems by severity but also by their effect on players. Further patches will continue to improve the game.
