The release of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition and its update has caused multiple problems for players including issues with DLC ownership and stability. Bethesda has acknowledged those problems plus is actively working on solutions. This guide lists the fixes that have been applied and what players should expect in the coming weeks.
Bethesda has already fixed some issues, which has led to faster loading times for the Creations menu, the game menu and the redemption of Creation Club items. A hotfix is planned for release early next week to address more urgent problems. This update will focus on:
After the first hotfix, Bethesda plans to release two more patches. The first is set for the week of November 24th and the second is expected in the first half of December. Specific details about those larger updates have not been released yet, but the studio has promised to share more information soon.
For players on Xbox Series X|S, the local storage limit for Creations will be significantly increased, up to 100GB, to allow for more mods. Bethesda has also confirmed that it is looking into a similar storage increase for PlayStation users.
Although the Anniversary Edition launch had issues, those planned updates show a commitment to addressing community feedback. Players should check official channels for the exact release times of those patches.
