Independent studios eSolu besides Team Mojo Games will soon add a new roguelite title called Odds Chronicles. The game mixes turn based grid combat with dice rolls that act like those in tabletop games.
Odds Chronicles plays out in turns on a grid board. Every action hinges on dice. At the start of each run, you roll dice - the numbers you get set the strength, magic and other stats for your party. Those stats fix how hard your heroes hit, how far they move plus which special skills they unlock. Because the rolls change each attempt, you rebuild your plan every time.
The dice do not replace the usual hit percentage system - they sit on top of it. You still see the odds to hit, but your dice pool decides how potent any attack will be. Other roguelites like Dicey Dungeons also use dice - yet Odds Chronicles links each die face to a hero stat giving the game its own rhythm.
The reveal trailer shows clean art, smooth animations and quick fights. Fights demand both a solid plan but also the nerve to push your luck with the next roll.
Odds Chronicles reaches PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026. PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series X|S editions follow after.
