Nintendo lets players try the new Switch 2 racing game, Kirby Air Riders during two beta weekends in November. The “Global Test Ride” gives an early look at three tracks and three modes so fans know what to expect before the full game arrives.
On Friday, November 7, the demo goes live. Players download it and run the tutorial “Lessons” even when servers shut down. The first beta weekend starts right after.
The Global Test Ride opens at those Pacific times:
During the test, players start with “Lessons” to learn controls, race in “Air Ride” on Floria Fields, Waveflow Waters next to Mount Amberfalls and join “City Trial” battles. The paddock lets users build rooms, invite friends or face global rivals. The test caps rooms at 16 racers - the final game doubles that to 32.
Kirby Air Riders reaches stores on November 20. It is a major first party Switch 2 title for late 2025 landing after Hyrule Warriors - Age of Calamity and before Metroid Prime 4: Beyond giving Switch 2 owners a busy holiday lineup.
