Get ready to jump to hyperspace in plain comfort. Japanese converter Toy Factory has revealed the DA VINCI 6.0 STAR WARS EDITION, an officially licensed camper that surrounds travellers with the dark side of the Star Wars universe. Yet taking home one of those rare vans is not a matter of paying the price and driving away.
Toy Factory, a firm that specialises in bespoke van conversions, has teamed up directly with Lucasfilm to produce five Star Wars campers. Instead of bright film stills or toy like figures, the design keeps to a sober, adult tone that echoes the Galactic Empire. The DA VINCI 6.0 STAR WARS EDITION sits on a Fiat Ducato L3H2 chassis - its length reaches 5 995 mm, its width 2 100 mm, its height 2 620 mm.
A 2.2-litre MultiJet3 turbo diesel sits ahead of the axle - it delivers 180 hp and 332 lb ft of torque through an eight speed automatic to the front wheels. The layout carries four people on the road and sleeps two inside - it suits adventurous couples or lone travellers.
The main appeal of the DA VINCI 6.0 STAR WARS EDITION hides inside the cabin. Every surface follows an Imperial colour scheme - metallic black panels join black leather seats stitched in red. White strip lights sit where a Star Destroyer would place them giving the “dark intimidation” feel the designers wanted. No film characters appear - the absence keeps the atmosphere refined rather than playful.
The van carries the gear needed for life on the road. A fixed double bed lies at the rear. A detachable table stands in the lounge. A 70-litre fridge, a microwave, a stainless sink, a household air conditioner, a roof vent, two auxiliary batteries, a 1 500 W inverter and a waterless Clesana toilet complete the standard list. Buyers who want more may add lithium ion batteries, flex solar panels, a surround view camera, dashcams fore and aft or a 19-inch television.
Anyone who hopes to own one of the five vans must clear two hurdles. The price opens at ¥21 870 000, roughly $140 000. Because only five exist, Toy Factory runs a lottery - entries opened on 30 October 2025. Only the drawn names gain the right to pay and collect this small piece of the Star Wars galaxy.
