This is a significant increase of 120 horsepower over the standard road-going D-Max engine, delivering the power needed for competitive racing.

Nearly every part of the truck has been upgraded for racing. The body features extensive aerodynamic parts, including a large, adjustable rear wing and a front splitter to create downforce, which presses the truck onto the track for better grip in corners. The interior is stripped of all comforts, containing only a single racing seat, a safety roll cage built to official standards, and a special steering wheel. The suspension is a fully adjustable system from Penske, and the brakes are upgraded with powerful six-piston front calipers from Ferodo for reliable stopping power.

No, this vehicle is not street legal and cannot be registered for use on public roads. It is designed exclusively for the racetrack and must be transported to and from events on a trailer. Isuzu has priced each of the 15 trucks at ฿1,490,000 (approximately $46,200). This price is below the actual development cost, as Isuzu is subsidizing the vehicles to encourage participation in its new racing series.
