Ford has revealed its strongest Everest SUV so far - adding a Tremor version that uses a twin turbo petrol V6. The ladder frame wagon has more power but Ford will sell it only in the Middle East.
Ford displayed the 2026 Everest Tremor at the Liwa International Festival in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi. A 2.7-litre twin turbo V6 EcoBoost sits under the bonnet and sends drive through a ten speed automatic plus permanent four wheel drive. The unit, already used in the F-150 and the US-market Ranger, delivers 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque giving the Everest line up its highest output to date.
Apart from the new engine, the Everest Tremor keeps its tough hardware. Bilstein supplies the dampers, ride height rises 26 mm and a Rock Crawl mode joins the terrain programs. Seventeen-inch black wheels wear General Grabber AT3 all terrain tyres.
Ford will not export the V6 Everest Tremor - buyers in North America but also other regions will not receive this version of the Ranger-based wagon. For the Middle East, the rest of the 2026 Everest range comprises Active, Sport besides Platinum grades - they share the updates already shown on the Australian models.
The V6 gives the Everest Tremor the highest power and torque in its class - it lines up against the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Mitsubishi Montero Sport or Isuzu MU-X with a clear performance advantage.
