The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Special Edition starts with either the Sahara or the Rubicon trim plus adds a heritage themed look. A Bright White hardtop, a white grille and a white body stripe with a small 1941 badge form the main visual change. Rubicon versions also receive a white hood decal. If the vehicle has the Sky One-Touch power roof, that panel is finished in Bright White as well. The overall shape recalls the old CJ-5 hardtops, while the clean white theme parallels the Ford Bronco Heritage Edition.
The Whitecap keeps the standard Wrangler powertrains. Buyers pick either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder rated at 270 horsepower and 295 lb ft of torque or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 285 horsepower as well as 260 lb ft of torque. Both engines work with Jeep's four-wheel-drive systems. The Whitecap is only an appearance package - every mechanical and off-road specification matches the base Sahara or Rubicon.
Retro-styled special editions remain popular among SUV buyers who want a unique look tied to automotive history. Jeep follows this trend - reviving heritage colors and graphics, much like Ford does with the Bronco Heritage Edition. The Whitecap package costs $495 on the top Rubicon X also rises to $3,185 on the Rubicon or $2,690 on the Sahara depending on added items like body color fender flares. Compared with rivals, the package lets owners emphasize style without altering proven Wrangler capability.
The Whitecap retains every practical feature of the Sahara or Rubicon. The white accents are purely cosmetic and do not change cargo room, passenger space, comfort systems or off road hardware. Drivers gain a distinctive heritage look without losing any of the daily usability or trail performance expected from a Wrangler.
