Honda Access is tapping into 1980s automotive nostalgia in Japan with a new "Bulldog Style" accessory kit for the electric Super-One. This collection of visual enhancements aims to evoke the spirit of the iconic Honda City Turbo II, affectionately known as the "Bulldog," while highlighting the Super-One's modern electric powertrain and sporty character.

Key Takeaways

A Nod to the "Bulldog"

The "Bulldog Style" kit draws inspiration directly from the original Honda City Turbo II, a beloved compact car from the 1980s. "Bulldog" lettering decals, mirroring those found on the Turbo II, are strategically placed on the doors, tailgate, and front bumper. These are complemented by "electric power" lettering, subtly emphasizing the Super-One's zero-emission nature.

Sporty Enhancements

Building upon the Super-One's already aggressive factory body kit, the accessory package focuses on refined details. A prominent new roof spoiler, finished in black to match the roof and Honda emblems, adds a more dynamic profile. The front bumper is updated with LED fog lights that can emit either white or yellow light, featuring black garnish for a sportier look. Complementing these changes are new 15-inch aluminum wheels, also in black, with a distinctive six double-spoke design.

Performance and Features

The Honda Super-One is powered by a single electric motor delivering 63 hp (47 kW / 64 PS) in standard mode, with an option to boost output to 94 hp (70 kW / 95 PS). To enhance the driving experience, it incorporates an Active Sound Control system that simulates gear shifts and engine sounds through the speakers. The model also boasts a distinct chassis tuning compared to the N-One kei car, featuring stiffer dampers and wider tracks for improved handling.

The accessorized Super-One was recently displayed at the Automobile Council 2026 in Chiba, alongside an original City Turbo II. Pre-orders for the Super-One and its "Bulldog Style" accessories are now open in Japan, with the official market launch slated for May. Pricing for the accessory kit is expected to be announced soon.
