Ford has announced its 2026 model year updates for the Bronco, highlighted by the reintroduction of the Wildtrak as a performance package and significant pricing adjustments across the lineup. The changes signal a strategic refinement of the popular off-road SUV's offerings, with a clear focus on the more popular four-door configuration.
The Wildtrak name returns not as a standalone trim level, but as an optional package for the four-door Badlands model. This package is engineered for high-speed off-road performance, centered around the HOSS 3.0 suspension system. This system uses Fox internal-bypass shock absorbers, which automatically adjust damping based on suspension travel. For the driver, this translates to enhanced control and stability during aggressive off-roading while maintaining comfort on less demanding terrain.
Priced at $11,945, the package also includes the Sasquatch Off-Road equipment group, the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. A Badlands model equipped with the Wildtrak package will have a total manufacturer's suggested retail price of $62,830.
The 2026 Bronco lineup sees varied price changes. The entry-level Base trim increases by $1,500 to $42,490, while the Heritage Edition's price rises by $1,240. Conversely, Ford has reduced prices on other models. The Big Bend trim is now $225 less expensive, and the Badlands sees a price drop of $585.
Notably, the Stroppe Edition receives a substantial price reduction of $5,640, bringing its starting price to $71,990. However, this performance model is now exclusive to the four-door body style. The price for the range-topping Bronco Raptor remains unchanged at $81,990.
Ford's 2026 strategy underscores a commitment to the four-door Bronco, which consistently outsells its two-door counterpart. The decision to limit both the Wildtrak package and the Stroppe Edition to the four-door platform reflects this market reality. This move caters to the majority of buyers who prefer the increased passenger and cargo space of the larger model.
In addition to the structural changes, the 2026 Bronco introduces new cosmetic options. Orange Fury, a metallic tri-coat paint from the Mustang palette, is now available for $995. Minor updates also include newly available painted roof colors for the Outer Banks and Raptor trims, further expanding personalization choices.
