Dodge is expanding personalization options for the 2026 Charger with the introduction of a captivating new paint color called 'Sub-Zero.' This unique hue offers a dynamic visual experience, appearing as a dark blue-gray under normal conditions but revealing brighter blue tones when hit by direct sunlight. This innovative color adds another layer of customization for buyers looking to make their Charger stand out.
The new Sub-Zero paint option is available for the entire 2026 Charger lineup, including the Sixpack-powered R/T and Scat Pack models, as well as the electric Daytona Scat Pack. Priced at an additional $795, this paint offers a sophisticated dark blue-gray finish that transforms under direct sunlight, showcasing brighter blue undertones. This dynamic quality makes the Charger's exterior appearance unique and ever-changing.
Dodge CEO Matt McAlear highlighted the importance of customization for the Charger's 'brotherhood,' stating, "Sub-Zero is the next in line of options available for the entire Charger lineup." Beyond the new paint, Dodge is also offering other styling enhancements. These include dual stripes featuring a Fratzog logo pattern with red accents, a Satin Black hood graphic for Sixpack models, and a Gloss Black hood specifically for the electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack. Mopar accessories further broaden the customization possibilities with additional bodyside graphics and visual upgrades.
The 2026 Charger is available with a range of powerful options. The gasoline variants include the Charger R/T, powered by a 420-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane "SIXPACK" inline-six engine, and the Charger Scat Pack, boasting 550 horsepower from the same engine. On the electric front, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers an impressive 670 horsepower, making it Dodge's most powerful muscle car to date. Regardless of the chosen powertrain, all 2026 Chargers come standard with all-wheel drive and are offered in both two-door coupe and four-door sedan body styles.
