Ram has revived the Rebel X package for the 2026 Ram 1500 - the option combines off road performance with luxury level content. It expands the standard Ram 1500 Rebel and targets drivers who want extra capability away from paved roads as well as extra comfort on them. Ram says the return answers continued buyer demand.
Rough Road Cruise Control re joins the lineup - the driver sets a speed between 0 and 20 mph and the truck modulates throttle as well as brake on rocky or rutted paths. Steering weight also firms automatically. The goal is to let the driver focus on line choice rather than pedal work.
Bed sides receive “Rebel X” stickers - the chassis keeps the 1-inch lift, Bilstein monotube dampers, front recovery hooks, electronic rear locker, skid plates, 18-inch black wheels and 33-inch all terrain tires.
The interior adds a leather wrapped shift lever, steering wheel paddle shifters, heated or ventilated front buckets trimmed in leather and vinyl, red accent thread next to a glass encased “Rebel X” badge on the console lid. A two pane panoramic sunroof is standard.
Ram adds a new paint shade called Tank Clear Coat for 2026. The Rebel X option is locked to trucks that also order the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group. That group brings 12-inch touchscreens, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, heated plus ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a 10.3-inch passenger side display.
Ram introduced the first Rebel X for 2025, earning praise that helped the 1500 line win MotorTrend's 2025 Truck of the Year award. Order books for the 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X are open - the opening price is $71,930.
