Ferrari has unveiled a truly unique 12Cilindri, a one-off creation born from its Tailor Made program in collaboration with South Korean artists. This bespoke V12 GT pushes the boundaries of automotive design, blending cutting-edge technology with traditional Korean aesthetics to create a vehicle that is as visually striking as it is mechanically potent.
The standout feature of this extraordinary Ferrari is its "Yoonseul" paint. Developed in partnership with artist Dahye Jeong, this custom finish boasts a matte texture that subtly shifts between green, violet, and blue hues. This captivating effect is reminiscent of the rare Mystichrome finish found on some Ford Mustangs, utilizing advanced technology to refract light and create a dynamic visual experience. Complementing the paint, custom Scuderia Ferrari shields, wheel caps, and badges feature a translucent layered finish, adding an extra dimension to the car's exterior.
A performance artist duo also contributed a custom livery running down the center of the car, visually interpreting the powerful V12 engine's sound. This livery seamlessly transitions into a slightly darker shade of the Yoonseul tone, unifying the design theme.
The interior of this 12Cilindri is as flamboyant and unique as its exterior. A custom glass roof features an intricate screen-printed pattern by Jeong, adding an artistic touch to the cabin. The dashboard includes a distinctive piece crafted from Mongolian horsehair, a material rarely seen in automotive interiors. Special fabrics adorn the seats and floor, further enhancing the bespoke feel.
Consistent with the translucent exterior accents, the center tunnel and door panels feature matte-finish panels with subtle Yoonseul detailing. White paddle shifters and brake calipers were specifically created for this build, providing a striking contrast and echoing the car's unique color palette.
Beneath its artistic exterior, this 12Cilindri retains the formidable powertrain of its production counterparts. It is equipped with Ferrari's flagship 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, delivering an impressive 818 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. While its unique commission likely means it will be cherished rather than thrashed, the performance capabilities remain undeniably potent, making it a true driver's car.
