The concept is a product of Kia's 'Opposites United' design language. This approach combines contrasting shapes and textures to create a unique look, a style already seen on production models like the EV9. While it shares a performance focus with the Stinger, the Vision Meta Turismo has a higher stance than a traditional sedan and a more spacious cabin, a direct benefit of its all-electric foundation. It aims to fill a niche for an enthusiast-oriented performance car that the all-electric EV6 GT did not fully capture after the Stinger's departure.

Technical Features and Driving Experience

To appeal to driving enthusiasts, Kia has focused on the user experience. The concept features a joystick-style gear selector and systems that create virtual engine sounds and vibrations. These features are designed to replicate the familiar feel of a gasoline-powered car. According to Karim Habib, Kia's head of global design, there is a strong internal push to bring the concept to market. He stated that while it is not a production car yet, the company is "trying to make that happen." However, before the Vision Meta Turismo can receive approval for production, Kia must first develop a convincing business case to ensure its viability in the current market. The timeline for such a decision remains unconfirmed.
